Portugals internationella handel återhämtar sig under andra kvartalet 2026

Portugal saw a significant recovery in international trade during the second quarter of 2026. According to the flash estimate from the National Institute of Statistics (INE), exports of goods rose 10% in nominal terms compared with the same period in 2025, after falling 6.5% in the first quarter.

Imports also followed this trend, growing 8.2% compared to the second quarter of the previous year. The simultaneous growth in exports and imports demonstrates greater momentum in the Portuguese economy and a recovery in international trade relations.
